Mariem Ben Ltaifa

Mariem Ben Ltaifa brings extensive experience as a youth worker, trainer, and facilitator across various programs, focusing mainly on media literacy, transcultural learning, gender issues, and political participation. Mariem is very passionate about challenging stereotypes, critical thinking as well as creating alternative narratives for a more diverse representation of societies. Since 2020, she has been a Programme Manager for “AlQatiba”, a Tunisian media organisation which works to build the capacity of journalists in the field of investigative journalism, citizen journalism, and fact-checking. تتمتع مريم بن لطيفة بخبرة واسعة كعاملة شبابية ومدربة وميسرة عبر برامج مختلفة، تركز بشكل أساسي على محو الأمية الإعلامية والتعلم عبر الثقافات وقضايا النوع الاجتماعي والمشاركة السياسية. مريم شغوفة جداً بتحدي الصور النمطية والتفكير النقدي بالإضافة إلى إنشاء سرديات بديلة لتمثيلٍ أكثر تنوعاً للمجتمعات. منذ عام 2020، كانت مديرة برنامج "الكتيبة"، وهي منظمة إعلامية تونسية تعمل على بناء قدرات الصحفيين في مجال الصحافة الاستقصائية وصحافة المواطن والتحقق من الحقائق.
